The Cuphead game update is finally here and we've got a lot of exciting new features, fixes and gameplay changes to share with you! First up, we've made some changes to the game's difficulty. We've listened to your feedback and we think these changes will make the game more fair and fun for everyone. We've also made some changes to the game's art style. We've added new animations and graphical effects that we think you'll really enjoy. And last but not least, we've added a brand new game mode called "The Devil's Due". In this mode, you'll be able to take on the game's hardest challenges and earn some really great rewards.
Gameplay Changes
- We’ve made a number of adjustments to the game’s difficulty. We’ve increased the health of some bosses, and made a number of other changes to make the game more manageable.
- We’ve also made some changes to how player damage is dealt. Now, when you’re hit by an enemy, you’ll lose a portion of your health, rather than all of it.
- In addition, we’ve made some changes to the game’s checkpoint system. Now, when you die, you’ll respawn at the last checkpoint you reached, rather than at the beginning of the level.
Fixes
- We’ve fixed a number of bugs, including a number of crashes.
- We’ve also made some adjustments to the game’s audio, to make it more consistent.
New Features
- We’ve added a new feature that allows you to play the game in “co-op” mode. In this mode, you and a friend can play through the game together.
- We’ve also added a new “Challenge Mode” to the game. In this mode, you can replay any level with a new set of challenges to complete.
